Shaw Electric, based out of Davenport, is an electrical contractor. Providing lighting fixture installation, cable installation, electrical inspection, and new home wiring, they were founded in the 1940s. In April 2013, Shaw Electric finished a remodeling project using a permit received from the city of Waterloo Community Development office, and they completed work on a new construction in May 2006 using a permit also received from the city of Waterloo Community Development office.
