So two years ago I had an inspection done by Gerry Hooper at my current address in Hartselle, Alabama. I paid $600 for the most horrible inspection ever. I know this is been two years since this happened but I’ve always wondered why my septic issue has never really worked properly well I had a contractor come and dig up my main line going from my home to my septic tank and found out that the previous homeowner didn’t fix the sewage issue they put plastic bags underneath The porch and covered it up so that no one could find the issue with the home. The inspector said that they were unable to farm the septic tank and field lines anywhere on the property but still said that the septic tank was 10 inches from the rear side of the home which was untrue. My septic tank we found out at 75 feet from the house and has not been in use for a very long time. To make things worse I laid around figured out that the homeowner and inspector were really good friends along with the realtor of the house, so that means they probably all knew what was going on and the inspector should’ve noticed something was going on when you flush the toilet and it gargles and I asked that they septic tank be located and emptied before I purchased the home and the homeowner said that since nobody knew where the tank was that a septic tank cannot be fixed because nothing was wrong. I have learned my lesson the hard way but hope to never use this company ever again for the rest of my life because I learned that people will hurt you more than they will help you and they will take your money any chance they get. I did want to note that the issue that was hidden it is very noticeable but I did not know what I was looking for and that’s why I never found the issue and I just figured that there was a clog in the line and I’ve dealt with it for two years now when I should’ve done something about it before.
