I explained the job I want and how much I want to spend. I also told them the city will only let me spend so much before requiring a total demolition and recommended we keep the finishes reasonable, like no $20K Viking fridge. Two days later they send me an estimate for three times the price we talked about including high end Viking appliances. I asked what is going on and if the person sending the email is the same as the person I met. Below is his angry, rude response. Decide for yourself if this is how you want to be treated before doing business with CCJR: I clearly explained why it will be high. For “ALL THE STUFF YOU WANT TO DO!!!” If you do not have the budget I suggested then we will not do project. If you would like to take off the patio, VIKING Appliances, Generator, windows, and all new sewer plumbing ( breaking up slab and putting new pipe ) etc….. then you will be in the budget you want.
