We specialize in custom concrete overlays. We can turn any boring looking, dirty, just old plan looking concrete into basically anything you would like. Conventional square tile, random natural stone patterns to 3D drawn textures. Perfect for back patios, driveways, pool decks, and sidewalks. Way it works: we will come inspect existing concrete, or pour new concrete slab. After looking over jobsite we will give a few suggestions of what we see and then listen to the ideas you have, finding the perfect new look to go over the existing concrete. Once the desired pattern, texture, and colors are figured out we will begin the construction. We will remove any and all surface issues on the concrete ( paint, acrylic, tile, carpet, etc. ). Then thoroughly pressure wash the entire slab, fill and grind smooth any existing cracks. Once prep work is complete we will apply the first layer (skim coat) which most of the time becomes the grout color of the desired pattern. The texture layer comes next going over the skim coat after pattern is put down. After the overlay is complete and you are happy we will seal the entire slab giving it that final touch. After sealed the overlay will be protected from the sun and any traffic coming across it. Heavy traffic areas will be sealed heavier. Any piece of concrete we will re-create. After completion the layer we will have added is only going to be about an eighth of an inch or just over thick. Overlays are perfect for back patios, sidewalks, driveways, and pool decks.
