McNeal & White Contractors began in 1998 as a partnership between JR McNeal and Marc White. At the time, JR and Marc put over 20 years combined construction experience together to specialize in residential and commercial carpentry. From that beginning the two grew McNeal & White Contractors Inc. from carpentry contractors to full "shell" contractors. They offered their customers a complete "shell" of the building, providing a package of labor and materials for the foundation, interior and exterior walls, roof system, and decking. They expanded from their Central Florida office and opened a branch in Jacksonville. Now penetrating this growing market they expanded their services, to include stucco and drywall; and again opened into another market, South Florida. As the company grew, they remained true to core values of providing a quality product at a competitive price to some of each area's finest homebuilders and commercial contractors. During the mid 2000s construction flourished so did McNeal and Contractors Inc., and with this prosperity JR and Marc decided to further expand their scope of work rather then fall victim to contentment. McNeal and White Contractors, Inc. became Certified General, Residential, Roofing, and HVAC Contractors, all the while still providing their core "shell" contracting services to those homebuilders and commercial contractors that helped build their business. During this time MWC also decided to help the community further by getting involved in WAP, the Weatherization Assistance Program. MWC is a preferred contractor with the state of Florida, working with several agencies in Florida providing much needed weatherization to many homes and mobile homes to those who qualify for assistance. Today McNeal and White Contractors, Inc. has grown substantially from its humble beginnings. They have expanded geographically to working in the entire state of Florida and Southern Georgia.
