Well....based upon prior reviews (which I wish I had relied on more) this review will make zero difference in the work ethic of Mr. Napples, but perhaps will serve as a cautionary tale for future potential consumers of Stone Falls...and someone will benefit. Let me start with the positives... Ryan Napples is an excellent salesman. He comes across as very sincere and hardworking...will promise you the moon...and makes you feel like you are a very good friend... he is so convincing and smooth that even though I had read a negative review I thought it must surely have been a personal problem because Mr. Napples convinced me that he was the guy for the job. My first clue should have been his willingness to reduce the projected cost by half at my very first query. Quite literally from $14k to $7.5k for just labor. Once the job started he had a worker that showed up and worked, but did not seem to be properly trained to do the flagstone work with no supervision, but Ryan was preparing for the Home Show and I made excuses to myself that it was going to be okay as soon as the show was over. It was not. My 425 square feet of flagstone is not laid in a pattern I would expect from a "trained stone mason". The stones are unevenly spaced and the foundation was not well prepped, so the stones are not level or stable. I had about a hundred guests for an outdoor party within days of supposed completion and I had a guest step on a large piece of flagstone and it literally imploded under their feet, collapsed in the center, and sank several inches into the void beneath. There are many stones that have settled in the time (less than one month) since supposed completion and the edges are a trip hazard, There is also a step that he was to return and place. The job was not completed, but since we did not need to be home in order for him to place the step, I made the unfortunate mistake of giving Ryan the final payment. I even said as I handed it to him that I expected him to finish even though he had been paid. I have made many attempts to communicate with him, but to no avail. The last response from him was that he would be up the following afternoon (4/17/18) to complete the work. I have never seen or heard from him since. All I want is for the job to be completed where my patio it can be utilized safely for it's intended purpose. I would not consider myself a gullible person, I am not new to hiring contractors, and I consider myself to be a fairly good judge of character. This was an epic fail on my part. I fell for the sales pitch and promises. If only I had held the final payment... Ryan Napples, I hope that you read this and consider making this right. I will edit and update this review if anything changes.

I had Ryan bid me for a very long privacy fence in my backyard 12/2017. Despite going over exactly where to place the fence - he managed to place the fence inside of my property line far enough that now many of my sprinkler heads and property are on my neighbors side. Included in the quote was for Ryan to stain the fence, and bend down all the nails on the other side. Once I brought my concern to Ryan regarding the incorrect placement of my fence - he said it was "no problem" and this kind of thing happens all the time. Ryan stated "that's why I always "cushion the bid" to cover unanticipated repairs I may need to come back to do. I told Ryan he needed to move the fence back to my property line, and not cut off my property line, nor move any sprinkler heads. I shared how this will affect my home value. Total silence from Ryan ignoring my REPEATED MULTIPLE attempts to sit down and talk to work out a plan (all documented). This guy is a crook and a liar. Now I am taking him to small claims court. Do NOT work with Ryan Napples nor his company Stone Falls. He is a big talker in the beginning - and then a dishonest man and crook in the end.
