If you need handyman expertise that is really top-shelf, Bob is your guy. He's not the cheapest handyman around, but that is because of the immense knowledge, experience and especially HIGH-QUALITY work he will bring to your home. He has done all kinds of things for us including figuring out a solution to our roofing eaves issue and fixing it properly. If you're tired of messing around with contractors that don't really know what they're doing (and pretend they do), call Bob instead. He will get the job done well and right every time.

Bob has been doing odd jobs for me for several years from tiling bathroom and entryway floors to installing light fixtures to staining the porch boards. His work is excellent. He works quickly, is dependable, and is great with suggestions.

Our church has used Bob on multiple occasions for a multitude of jobs. He does fine work and is wonderful to work with.

Bob was recommended to us by a friend when we moved to Durham and we're very grateful they did. Bob has always done a complete and very satisfactory job on the projects we've asked him to do! He is very talented and has the skills to do just about anything. He always arrives at the time he schedules (or calls promptly if he's going to be a few minutes late). He's very easy to work with and his prices are quite reasonable. We have now recommended Bob to our friends.

Storage Room Roof/Deck Repair | Mar 2014 | My customer had a storage room built under their deck, and the roof of the storage room was leaking and the sheathing was rotted. Replacement required removing the deck planks and joists above the room and removing the damaged roof. Instead of replacing it with another standard roof, we used a product called RainEscape. which is a polybutylene sheathing that forms into troughs between the roof joists. These troughs then empty into a standard rain gutter outside of the structure. This was something new to me, but the project went well and is watertight. | $6k | Durham, NC
Bathroom remodel | Apr 2012 | This was a full out-to-the-joists-studs remodel, including pouring a new shower pan, installing ceramic tile in the shower and on the floor, and installing all new fixtures and appliances. | $5k | Durham, NC
Patio Tiling | Jun 2010 | I installed multi-colored slate tiles on the floor of a covered patio. My customer liked them so much she asked me to install the same as a kitchen backsplash | $1k | Durham, NC
Install outdoor lighting | Dec 2014 | I replaced two outdoor motion-sensor lights with new LED fixtures. Upon removing the old fixtures, I discovered there were no junction boxes in the soffits, so those were also installed, making the lights conform to electrical code. | $130 | Durham, NC |
