I had new carpets installed throughout our downstairs and within a year or so, with very little use, the carpet started bunching up. When I called Eagle Floors, they told me they only warranty for a year. They suggested I call some other company to have my carpets stretched. A year later, I had to pay to have our rental house carpet stretched as well (installed around the same time). This company appears to not care about residential carpet buyers. BEWARE!!!

Eagle floors provided the carpet for my elderly parents' brand new home through the contractor that built their home. The install warranty was for a year. Just over a year goes by and their carpet started to develop rolls, indicating it wasn't installed (stretched) correctly. My folks hired a local business to come and stretch the bedroom carpet because it had gotten so dangerous and the new carpet guys said the carpet had never been stretched. A month later the small rolls in the living room grew bigger and bigger. My parents' neighbor who moved into their brand-new house at the same time is having the same issues. They have only been in their homes 2-1/2 years with no pets or anyone else living in the home which could potentially cause more rolls. I decided to contact eagle floors and design and spoke to Robby about the situation. After researching the carpet he told me it was a carpet that the contractor picked and was good carpet and that in 15 years he's only had call backs on 2 carpet jobs due to seams, in other words it wasn't the original installers problem. He also said the people who stretched the carpet would never be able to tell that the carpet was not stretched. Really? Carpet that has not been stretched correctly definitely creates rolls!!! He then said that they can certainly come out and stretch the carpet for a few hundred bucks and only if my parents have everything moved out so they can do it. He also told me he knows it was installed correctly....really? Then why the rolls??? I guess eagle floors and design don't care about customer satisfaction. Robby wouldn't even admit that it was their installers error. We will never do business with them and perhaps you should think twice before you do.
