L Ten Photography

The following is a letter I wrote to Lee Tenneboe of L Ten Photography after she completed her project. I think this summarizes my experience accurately. - Tim Jones Lee, Thank you so much for the amazing work you did photographing our house. I have to say, you did such a spectacular job of bringing out the best aspects of our house that as soon as we saw the photos, both my wife and I had the exact same reaction: “Gosh, our house looks gorgeous. It makes us almost wish we were not selling it after all.” One of the things that impressed me so much is that you really listened to us as home owners. You understood what aspects of our home we really felt were special and should be highlighted. Your ability to capture the lighting was amazing. It is clear that you have deep experience as a professional photographer and it showed in the angles you used, the lighting and just the way you were able to make every image capture the warmth and charm of our home. And I was expecting that you might come in, zoom through the house in 30 minutes and be done. But no, you took the time setting up the pictures to ensure you had perfect lighting and composition to emphasize the best aspects of each room. We looked at the listings of many comparable homes in our neighborhood and quite frankly, while many of them looked nice, they simply did not compare to the quality of the images you captured. You made our home look so inviting that truly, we almost had second thoughts about selling our house once we saw your images. The bottom line, however, is that thanks to your incredible photos, our open house attracted far more visitors than we or our realtor had anticipated. And we got two offers – at asking price – on the very same day as the opening. And our house closed within weeks. I attribute a key reason for this to be the superior work you did to present our home in its absolute best light. By the way, thank you for your excellent counsel when you told me upfront, “If any agent says they will take photos themselves to run away!” I now understand what you mean. From my own experience working with you, I see how professional photos can make or break a listing. Thank you for being so professional and so talented. You went the extra mile and made us feel like we were your most important client. Thank you for being so incredibly kind and easy to work with from start to finish. Whenever the day comes that we sell our next home, I would never think of contacting anybody but you for the job of photographing our home. I felt like we were working with the best of the best when we were able to get you for this job. Deepest thanks, Tim Jones
