Michael Trester is the owner and is also the handyman that will be doing your work. He grew up in Southern California where He started working construction in 1983, working both as a plumber and doing drywall. He has been a certified plumber since 1986. He worked as a plumber building houses until 1997. While working construction He watched and learned from other tradesmen, such as electricians and framers, and He took all of that knowledge and moved to the maintenance and repair side of the business. In 1997 He went to work for Sheraton, where He was a lead maintenance tech in several of their hotels. Wanting to get back into the residential service side He went to work for a property management company and worked as maintenance director for apartment complexes. He then started working for a company that did maintenance and repair on rental houses, and after a few years of that He started thinking how nice it would be to take all of this experience and start a home repair company that does things right, with the customer in mind. And that is how, with his wife Misty, MKM Handyman Services came about.
