The mission: Create a floor plan for a modern family within the bones of a 1920's structure, add garage/office/secondary living unit building without taking away from the original and make it fit on a tight site. By opening the interior of the living space and being selective with additions the end result is a contemporary living space that still puts the original part of the home at center stage.
