El Paso Mission Style

Sep 2013

We were asked to design a classic, Spanish Mission style, home on a hillside taking advantage of 270deg views for a family that entertains. The home needed to have the space for large gatherings but still feel intimate for the family. With spectacular views from every room and a sense of comfort by yourself or with a large group the project successfully fulfilled the client's wishlist and then some.

Country Villa

Jan 2009

A country villa for a large modern family. The spaces in the home needed to flow from one to the other and from the interior to the exterior with ease but without sacrificing the timeless style the clients wanted. Attention to every detail makes the project a standout for any time.

La Jolla Historic Renovation

Jan 2008

Remodel and additions to a historically registered Craftsman style home. The mission: Create a floor plan for a modern family within the bones of a 1920's structure, add garage/office/secondary living unit building without taking away from the original and make it fit on a tight site. By opening the interior of the living space and being selective with additions the end result is a contemporary living space that still puts the original part of the home at center stage. Project required specialized government permitting.

La Jolla Classic

Jan 2007

A sophisticated, North-east style home with a modern, open floor plan and classic detailing. A strong inside-outside relationship and street presence were a must. With clean lines and an unfussy material palate the house is everyday, functional without sacrificing style.

California Ranch

Jan 2005

An update on the California Ranch home where inside-outside living is king. An open floor plan with a constant connection to the exterior lets the family always be together even in different rooms. Beautiful woodwork and beams give the home a truly warm feel and strengthen the connection to the outside environment.

La Jolla Museum Quality

Jan 2003

A contemporary, musuem quality home, with great ocean views the client wanted to say something without being overpowering. The clean, curvilinear lines of the home, repeated outside and in, materials and detailing make a statement without screaming here I am.
