Bob's Roofing and Home Improvements!

Had Bob Church build a carport, lean-to, and part of a fence before I just couldn’t take any more. He ripped an 18” laminate beam down to 12” that stretches 23 feet out! Then used the scrap 6” laminate beam to run the ridge with! Had to ask for the other 6” scrap to be added to support the ridge because it seemed to bow as if it wasn’t strong enough! After talking with the state and other contractors I have found I was more correct than I realized at the time! It’s actually unsafe according to the state of alabama! He used untreated wood on the fence and structure then tells me I’m basically a liar for not accepting the false wood and the scam! Blamed my girlfriend! Stated that it’s her fault because she mentioned she was going to stain the fence so it’s fine to use untreated wood outside according to Bob even though I paid for treated! Used indoor screws that say on the box “Do not use in treated wood” and “Do not use for structural purposes”! He then tells me he can’t see that well so HE DOESN’T READ THE BOXES OR THE SPECS OR WHAT SCREWS ARE USED FOR WHAT! Tried telling me that untreated wood would be lighter and work better for a privacy fence! It’s literally a scam from the beginning! He didn’t want to wait on the correct middle post for the structure so he just bought a smaller one and scabbed a scrap 6 x 6 with some screws to finish it out so it looks as stupid as it could possibly be! Literally scared for my family’s life near this thing! SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT LISTEN TO HIS FAMILYS REVIEWS OF THE COMPANY! Of course they’re going to give him 5 stars!
