The company will do everything to wiggle out of an insurance claim. Do not even bother getting one. All of my furniture got banged up and only 1/3 of the damage paid for it. Furthermore I paid the company to pack my stained glass items and they refused to honor the damage, because the crew was too lazy to take off the Styrofoam that the pieces were in to repack themselves. The inventory clearly stated CARRIER PACKED, but somehow it is still not their problem. So I ended up paying them to pack my items just so I can have my insurance claim denied after the pieces were broken. Also our bed collapsed in the middle of the night because it was not screwed together as it was supposed to. My husband's desk and hutch had a few "extra" screws sitting out, making us wonder if it is going to collapse just like our bed did. I spent an hr and half with the crew physically helping put my workbench together cause they could not figure out how it is supposed to be. I can go on and on, but in the end, I have all of my furniture messed up, custom art broken, around $400 paid for insurance coverage and I cannot get the company to pay in full.
