The clients had an existing deck and decortive corner pergola structure that was built over 20 years ago by Creative Wood Products. Time and the elements had taken their toll on the structure and some of the decking areas. We replaced the entire corner pergola with one that looked similar with the only changes being to make the structure sturdier for their chain swing that they hang off of it . Rather than have them go through the expense of replacing all of the decking ( which after 20+ years will still in very good shape across the majority of the deck ) we cut off the areas of comprimised wood and reframed the substructure to accept a feature strip at the bay area . This allowed us to replace the areas of bad material and make it look like a design feature that was always there. It saved the clients considerable expense, and when stained to match, will look great. The corner pergola is now much more stable and ready for years more of relaxing in their chain swing underneath it. The clients were looking for a large deck to be able to entertain family and friends on. They wanted it to provide easy access to the pool area (Pool by Home Water Sports), but have some design and flair to it. We used a premium grade wolmanized decking and went with western red cedar for the railing supports, fascias and skirting. The Deckorator brand round aluminum balusters in a Bronze color work well with the colors of the house as well as the beautiful wooded backyard area. To help make sure that the entertaining wouldn't have to move inside because of nightime, Dekor LED lighting was used throughout the project. The lighting in the inset staircase will not only help make the stairs safe to traverse at night, it will also really liven up the deck from the rear yard and pool area. The rail post lighting will add just the right amount of ambiance while keeping the look of the top rail smooth and uncluttered. The project was a lot of fun to design and work with the clients on throughout the process! This is a basement remodel project we did. The clients had two spaces in their basement that they wanted to get more use out of. They wanted to create a pool room for their pool table and also a flex room that could be used for office space, study, or additional storage. We worked with some of the existing basement framing and also framed new walls where needed to create the spaces. We worked with a number of quality sub-contractors on this project to see it come to fruition. Craftsmen Electrical Kopec Plumbing & Heating Pillen Construction for the drywall work Accent Decorating & Design for all of the painting and stainwork on the wood. It was a great team effort by everyone involved, both clients and crews, to deliver a fantastic project and give the clients more comfortable and usable space in their basement. For this project, the clients had two existing decks that they wanted to remodel for a fresh new look. The balcony deck received new premium grade wolmanized decking. We also installed new combination western red cedar railing with Deckorator brand round aluminum balusters. The main deck area needed some substantial re-support work, as well as repair to the existing house framing due to rot that had occured through the years. We also constructed a new landing and staircases to access the deck. The same decking and railing were used as on the balcony deck. The stairs received Dekor brand l.e.d. lights installed in the western red cedar fascia. The clients now have two new fresh looking decks that are much safer to enjoy the outdoors on. This is a recently completed deck project. The clients needed a way to access their beautiful backyard from the rear of the house. They wanted something that had a lot of usable space for entertaining, but wasn't just a "plain " square deck. The angled corner with flare staircase adds a nice bit of pizazz without taking away a lot of space. The steps are lit with Dekor brand low voltage l.e.d. lighting, and the combination of Deckorators brand round aluminum balusters with western red cedar make viewing the backyard from the house easier while cutting down on maintenance. They also add a more modern and elegant look. This is the second project we have done for these clients and they were an absolute pleasure to work with again. This is a screen room we did for the clients so that they had a nice relaxing place to enjoy the backyard. The interior floor of the room is screened and then decked using a premium grade wolmanized. The support beams and posts for the roof are wolmanized wrapped in rough sawn western red cedar. The ceiling and soffit are done in a tongue and groove western red cedar rough sawn. The roof was tied into the existing house roof and dimensional shingles were used to match the existing house roof. The screens are all western red cedar framed with black fiberglass screen mesh. The screens are all removable for safekeeping in the Winter months. The screen door is a powder coated aluminum screen door. The clients had Craftsmen Electrical install lighting in the soffit area, as well on the exterior of the screen room. The room provides them a nice, quiet, and bug free area to relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife in the backyard. The clients had an existing railing that was unsafe and unsightly. Being on the lake, they wanted to enhance the view of the water while also making a much sturdier and safer railing. We used Deckorator brand glass balusters with western red cedar supports to really open the view up for them. An aluminum gate that is self closing and self latching was installed at the top of the stairs to insure that their small children and pets would have a safe place to play outside and enjoy the view of the lake. Once everything is re-stained, the existing deck and new railing will really help to give their lakeside yard a whole new fresh feel while greatly enhancing their fantastic view. The clients had an existing wood deck that was starting to have several issues. We removed the existing deck and re-designed a new deck that would give them more usable space and open feeling. The decking is Gossen brand Passport series Moroccan Cedar with Spanish Walnut accent stripe. The railing is made with a wolmanized subframe and then wrapped with Gossen pvc in Moroccan Cedar color. The stone columns are Deckorator brand faux stone in Fieldstone color. The caps are Deckorator brand solar l.e.d. post caps. The railing balusters are Deckorator round aluminum balusters. Dekor l.e.d. lighting was installed in the step fascias for safety and nightime illumination to compliment the post caps. Once warmer and better weather come in I will go back out and get some nice pictures without the rain and leaves Mother Nature was throwing at me :) I also can't wait to get some great nightime shots of this project. The clients had an existing deck that they loved the shape and size of, but their wood decking had deteriorated to the point where it was becoming unsafe to use. We removed the existing deck and reframed a new one to match their original design. We used Gossen brand pvc in the Canyon Brown color for the new decking and fascias. The steps had l.e.d. lights made by Dekor installed for safety and additional cool factor in the evening hours when they are entertaining outside. The clients now have a new low maintenance deck that will bring them years of enjoyment. Thank you very much Mr. & Mrs. Poma for allowing us to rebuild your outdoor entertaining space!
