Giza Construction LLC

Giza Construction and Gloria Pinon accepted and bid on an add-on project for us in May 2019. They accepted $104k and accomplished around $40k of work from us before they sent a letter out to say they had used all of the money and were not going to finish the project. They did not pay their subcontractors for all of the work done so we were responsible for paying them to avoid a lien being put on our property. They lied about inspections not passing so we had to do more work that was "already done" to get even the PAST inspections to pass. We have now sunk almost $200k into a project that was initially bid at $75k, increase to $128k after plan finalization, and their default. If you are a potential client or a sub-contractor, I urge you to do research and use caution before using this company to build your project. In addition, we have had multiple letters returned to us so have not been able to file an official complaint to the CCB. There is no ethical or moral center in this company. Nice people but no concern about how their business practices impact their customers. There are at least two other active complaints on their Oregon CCB and I would not be surprised if there are several more at this point. Do your research. This has severely impacted our lives in a negative way.
