DuKate Fine Remodeling

We had owned a lakefront property since 1992, and used it for weekends during the summer. Upon retirement, we considered moving to the lake house fulltime. My husband and I realized, at the very least, that would require a new roof, gutters, deck, siding and paint. To live there year-round, a new heating and cooling system would definitely be necessary. Even with all these improvements, the house would still not offer the space or amenities we desired. So we explored the remodeling possibliities with a draftsman we knew and trusted. With a blueprint in hand, he referred us to DuKate Fine Remodeling. From our first meeting, we felt comfortable with Mike. He was very professional and expressed genuine interest in helping us retire at the lake. He was open to our ideas, offered excellent design suggestions, and was always available for questions. Mike worked closely with us throughout this huge rennovation project. His sub-contractors demonstrated the same professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail. Their skilled craftsmanship was greatly appreciated. Over time, our dated and dilapidated lake cottage of 1,400 sq. ft. was completely transformed to a stunning 2,300 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with a 3 car garage. The lake view is now fully showcased, and we enjoy every convenience that we had hoped to incorporate. We were truly blessed to realize our vision with the guidance of Mike DuKate.

They have done 3 projects at our home. The first was a beautiful kitchen/dining room/living room/laundry room remodel that had stunning results. The next was our master bathroom which was a challenge because of space - they did a wonderful transformation and we love it! Last, they replaced our old wooden gate to our driveway with a secure automated gate that we love as well. We are looking forward to our next project - Thank you!
