W3 Construction LLC

Working with W3 Construction on my residential flip/remodel has been an absolute nightmare. To date, Robert Wagoner has stolen over $10,000 from me, not counting the poor quality / incomplete work he performed and the significant costs I incurred from holding a flip property for over 1.5 years (!!) while Robert dragged his feet on completing repairs. Most recently, on 05/26/2017 I sent Robert a payment of $14,466 for work, which has mostly been uncompleted. The incomplete work includes building a deck, installing sheetrock, insulation, installing a cabinet and doors, and installing a HVAC compressor unit. Robert has since stopped answering his phone, emails, or text messages, and by my calculation owes me $10,733.33 of labor and materials. Robert is unscrupulous and has no hesitation in lying, twisting facts, and making up stories to serve his purpose. I believe he has sociopathic tendencies as I've never seen someone so comfortable with lying to others straight to their face. Robert works at a snail's pace and it takes significant prodding to get him to perform any work. Once our contract was signed, the work started off very slow and Robert would make various excuses regarding why work was delayed. He would often blame it on me, saying that I did not pay him enough money upfront which was causing a delay. However, when I paid him the higher amount that he requested (which I was frankly uncomfortable with) Robert disappeared for 3 weeks. Only when I showed up at his house and spoke with his wife did he finally return my call. His excuse for the disappearance made no sense (he said that he had to travel somewhere and left his cell phone in his truck). When he resumed work, the delays were inordinate. Following this incident, Robert disappeared on me again for over a week two more times, where he was completely unreachable. These incidents were again followed by transparently false excuses. Robert has a temper issue and when caught in a lie his defense mechanism is to lash out and yell and accuse the other person of various things. While I can handle it, Robert yelled at my Realtor and made her very uncomfortable. Recently Robert told me that his crews had all left him and that he would have to work on the project by himself, and he couldn't give me a timeframe for completion. I have been incurring significant expenses while waiting for Robert to do work including property taxes, insurance payments, and various other expenses. In our contract it states that he must pay me for every day he is late and to date he has incurred $5,100 of late fees, which he has not paid to me. In closing I would like to say that I work hard for my money and I find it very unfortunate that people like Robert exist to cheat me out of it.

I have not used the services yet of Mr. Robert Wagoner, but his customer service from our initial phone conversation today gets an A+ from me! I wish his business much success.
