Ashley called for an estimate but didn't really want to answer many of the questions I ask on the phone to help me determine if I can take a job. She said the work was in just two areas and she needed an insurance estimate. When we arrived at her house, there was repair/installation needed in every room and was much more involved than she implied. We were already booked up for several weeks and had several pending jobs. If I'd had been told the true extent of the work during our phone conversation I wouldn't have scheduled the appointment. I did not send an estimate and when she called me about it, got upset that I wouldn't spend the time working up a detailed estimate for a job that I wasn't going to take. I did suggest that she could get it done quicker and possibly cheaper going through a larger company that sells the wood and installation as a package deal, and has more installers.

Disappointed. Called them and they seemed really nice. Came to our home and my husband really liked what they had to say regarding our new flooring installation. They called today and informed me that they wouldn't be able to take our job and wouldn't be able to offer an estimate. A job that was pending for them went through. He said that he wouldn't be willing to spend the time it would take to write us up an estimate for our home insurance company. I told him I was confused because he didn't mention his timing constraints when he was here and he wasted our time. He said he didn't find out about the job until today. He said that's it probably better that I go with another company as he is more expensive? Things happen. I understand things happen. I'm disappointed in his attitude when he called and how unapologetic he sounded. I didn't realize I would be a waste of time and I find it unprofessional that he would agree to come out at all if there was an even a possibility of him not being able to at least complete an estimate. We and our home insurance have been waiting for that estimate when I could have called someone else. Rude and I will not be calling them again. There work might be good (from what I read from other reviewers) but there attitude and apparent work ethic is not.
