Matt and Tiffany Thomas founded Thomas Group Realty in Gainesville, FL. Having experience working for a large firm, the Thomas' felt the need for a boutique real estate agency comprised of only seasoned Realtors with the highest standard of ethics. The Thomas Group was formed initially with their family: Matt Thomas, John Thomas (Matt's father), Lore Davis and Eric Davis (Tiffany's mother and brother). Taking with them their years of experience in Residential and Commercial Real Estate in Gainesville, FL, the Thomas Group was determined to create Gainesville's most exclusive boutique real estate agency. With today's technology, small agencies have an equal amount of exposure as the larger firms. This has given the Thomas Group the ability to serve their customers by marketing their assets in the same markets as the larger firms, only with more of a "hands-on" approach. In March of 2012, the Thomas Group began recruiting other Realtors in the Gainesville marketplace and soon added five experienced agents. In 2013 and 2014, the company continued to grow to have 21 agents, including the addition of Tiffany Thomas (who had been working as an on-site agent for new construction since 2011). In October 2014, Thomas Group Realty merged with another boutique agency, Elwood Realty, to total 30 agents and become the fourth largest agency in year to date sales volume in Alachua County. Thomas Group Realty now offers two office locations (Haile Village Center and Thornebrook Plaza), more than 30 experienced Realtors, an Office Manager and Marketing/IT Director. They are here to provide the highest standards of service, offering each customer a personal, hands-on approach in every real estate transaction.
