We came to your home on 7/12/16 at no charge and gave you a VERBAL estimate to install a ceiling fan box and switch, not a written estimate. You called back on 7/15/16 to schedule the work. You told me you were given a price of $300 and I said I would verify that pricing. After taking into consideration the difficulty of the job it was discovered that the job couldn't be done for $300 because there is no access above the porch ceiling. A hole was going to have to be cut and then a wire was going to have to be fished over and down to the wall of the house which would take two guys approximately 4 to 4.5 hours and the cost of the ceiling fan box and wire. When you called to reschedule, just happened to be the same day I was going to call you to explain to you about the difficulty of the job and apologize that the verbal estimate was incorrect. I told you the standard pricing was $666.27, but instead we were giving you the value pricing of $599.65 and a 10% discount as a courtesy which brought the total to $539.68 (pricing was also for open access which this job has no access and we also didn't charge the $152 for the box install). I never told you the price would be $575. I tried again to apologize for the error and to explain the difficulty of the job to you, but as you said in your review you hung up on me. We are human and do make mistakes sometimes. The software we are using to quote with was fairly new at the time and we were still learning it. We truly feel bad you are upset, but we were trying our best to make that up to you.
