Steve's Bathroom Remodeling Contractor

I cannot recommend this company at all. I had him replace a bathtub and tile tub surround in a guest bathroom. He did a good job replacing the tub and the tile work was 90% satisfactory. However, I had him do a master bathroom and the plumbing work was very satisfactory, but the tile work looked like a novice DIY project. He chipped many of the tiles and instead of replacing them, he just tried to hide it with a colored marker, plus many more were not level. I eventually had to fire him and now have another contractor that has to remove all the tile that Steve had done in order to do it correctly. There are so many mistakes that there is no salvaging the project. It now is going to cost me double what Steve originally quoted me, with what I paid Steve for his poor workmanship and the cost of the new contractor to fix and finish the project. It has been a total nightmare. Steve is a nice guy and talks a good game, but his tile work is pathetic. I cannot recommend him at all.
