Krystal Water Pools

Be careful with Karen and Jeff Bodin of Krystal Waters Pools. They talk up a big game about their customer service and staff training, but they do not deliver. Don't let them step foot on your property before reading this. Our dogs are very friendly and they have access to the back yard at all times. Imagine how I felt today when I turned the corner onto my street and the dogs were running out into the street. Her new employee left the gate propped open and the dogs got out. The employee said he has only been with the company about a week. Obviously, she hasn't trained the employees to never do this, even when the client has specifically told her to make sure that they never prop open a gate. Luckily for Karen Bodin, I happened to have the afternoon off. I almost am never home at this time of day. But by some fluke, I am and thankfully for her, I was able to get the dogs inside without any problem. Our gate is spring loaded and closes automatically. Now this is where I get really steamed. Upon calling her and telling her that her employee propped open our gate and that she's fired, she proceeds to yell at me and said "fu ** you!" and hung up the phone on me. Yes, my voice was raised. I was upset because I told her that this is something that we went over before I hired her. That the gate never be propped open was far more important than a sparkling clean pool. That the dogs are never to get out. She swore she would ensure that this would never happen. We shook on it.. So when I called her yesterday, after getting my dogs inside, she then starts yelling at me when I told her I intended on yelping her company, "You're going to let one mishap dictate 3-4 years of customer service?" YES I AM! This is a biggie Karen. You dropped the ball. My dogs were running onto a major street and if I wasn't, by some miracle, off today, those dogs could have gotten hit by a car or gotten lost and I'd never be able to forgive myself for hiring you, the woman who looked me dead in the eyes and told me that this exact thing would never happen, EVER! I let some time pass and then texted her to make sure that I am not charged for any December services and I think this is more than fair considering what had happened. She then said that it's the LAW I pay for the past due services but she was going to do me a favor and wave the charges. Jeeze. Thanks. She then texted me and stated that the employee said that the gate was not a spring loaded, self closing gate. That's a flat out LIE! I've attached a photo showing that there is a spring to prove I'm not in the wrong. I texted her a video to prove the gate is spring loaded and closes automatically. She then claims I am a "bully" and that I "hate women." WTF?! So now I am not only an upset client who has a very valid reason for being upset, I'm a liar and a misogynist too! I'm upset now and I'm also offended. Way to go on customer service. Two thumbs up. I would be just as mad if you were a man, Karen. I am not hating on you because you're female. I'm mad because you can't take any accountability for what happened and apologize. I'm not going to pry an apology from you. You can't handle someone getting rightly upset, then perhaps you shouldn't be in a business where you enter someone's home!
