We have used Tink Jones, Zero Point Builders, for 3 projects. The first was a bathroom project, installing tile on the floors and shower walls, next, installing laminate flooring and finally, building a covered deck/porch. Each experience was better than we expected. Tink is professional, on time, on budget, a great communicator/listener and an excellent craftsman, and he keeps a really neat worksite! We will use him for any projects in the future and do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, needing any type of building project done.

We hired Tink to install 108 fence posts and 4 gates. We installed the fence rails and pickets ourselves since I have done similar work when I owned a landscaping company for 12 years. One month later, a storm came through and pushed larges sections of the fence over because the posts failed. After investigating, I found there to be 40 pounds or less of concrete on each post and the posts were only installed up to 14”. Both items are below standard installation practices for a 6’ fence. Those are the facts. Lannie “Tink” Jones said it was bad concrete and that we installed the fencing too early. That is not the case. A couple of posts did not even have concrete on all four sides of the posts! The only compromise that Tink offered was for us to buy the materials to repair the damage and he would help with the labor. He came out for two hours one day and worked with me, and then we could not to get him to come out again. I am not sure why I need to be home for him to repair the fence. If you look under Tink Jones Construction or Phoenix Builders you will see the has BBB complaints and bad reviews. Maybe this was too large of a job for him. This could have been resolved if Tink would have just helped with the repair. If you want to read the full description, you can read my blog post here: https://hankhoffmeier.com/i-am-on-the-fence
