Mr. Handyman of Greater Grand Rapids

I have used Mr. Handyman of Greater Grand Rapids for small 'handyman' repairs several times. Most recently, that was in 2011. I made the mistake of going into my garage one winter without unlocking the door handle. Unfortunately for me, I also neglected to unlock the front door, so I was stuck outside with three locked doors - the rear deck door was also locked. The only way into my house was to kick the front door in, which I did. Fortunately, the door 'gave' easily and opened with relatively minor damage to the frame; there was no damage to the door itself. One call to Mr. Handyman got a very polite, super-qualified repairman to my house the next day. The technician took about 2 hours to repair the frame, replace wood as needed (he had to make one trip to the local hardware store for a few items) and when he was finished, the door opened and closed tightly. Since then, there has been absolutely no problem with the door...no leaking resulting in very cold air in winter, no sticking, nothing. I am a 100% satisfied repeat customer, so much so that I will be having them back to make several small and one not-so-small repair to my house. I might even have them run a gas line from downstairs to my kitchen so I can cook with gas...it could happen!
