Whirlpool washer about 20 years old - fills for washing but will not drain or refill for rinse without my trying to make it do so by turning the mechanism over and over again. Then it won't turn to the rinse cycle when water is emptied. I have to refill it as tho I'm going to wash again. The second wash cycle then is what I use for rinsing and then have a hard time emptying the water again.
