"You fell into our web" those are the words of Kenneth Canter, owner of Canter Power Systems when he called me personally September 19th, 2019 to personally apologize for the three years of hell his company put us through. Mr. Canter admitted that his companies drive for sales had caused them to cut corners. He only called after he received a copy of the second letter we sent advising him of our formal complaint against him with our states licensing board. Canter does a great job of marketing and no doubt there are customers who've enjoyed great service. But if you happen to be one of the poor souls who "falls into their web" the generator they installed will not provide the promised "peace of mind" but cause needless misery because every time a storm approaches you won't know if it will work as promised. Canter promises a professional installation with "trained, certified" technicians. That didn't happen. They sent a crew who had NEVER installed a generator like the one we ordered. And they failed to properly monitor the contractor who committed multiple electrical code violations. We have filed a formal complaint with our states licensing board requesting Canter Powers electrical license be revoked and are considering legal action for Fraud, Reckless Endangerment and Deceptive sales practices. If you are considering a back up electrical generator please think twice before handing your hard earned money to these con artist.
