Hood's Movers

trust me dont waste your time. I called them to move a safe inside. they came saw the safe and where i wanted it gave me a quote. then they couldnt even do it, damaged the brand new safe in the process and then tried to charge me double to come back with extra guys. I should be taking them to court but im not that type.The name should have been enough for me to think twice because i got "hood" service.

DO NOT USE THEM! The first time I used them was July '15. They arrived late by 30 mins. They got lost. The movers were absolutely wonderful. They were efficient. We were going 15 mins away but they needed to stop for gas. They unpacked swiftly & were careful. This time was different. I made an appointment to meet but my house closed late. I called and rescheduled. The night before I had the 1st appointment he called but didn't remember I changed the appointment. He showed up 1 hour late after being lost. The movers packed up quickly and there was no damage. They then ran out of gas 1 block from pick up location. 30 mins buying a gas tank, fill it & take it back to their truck on our dime. They got lost (10 mins away) & complained because of traffic. If they arrived on time there wouldn't have been traffic. They truck stalled blocking everything. The movers were great. The owner charged me $300. 1st time I paid $200. He said I would get a discount for return customer.
