Patterson Bathroom

Jul 2014

This customer had a Master Bathroom that was original to the home and outdated. We designed the space together, and came up with a beautiful plan. Bathroom remodels are my favorite project to get involved in, so I did all of the shower, tub and floor tile and buildout myself. the shower is 18' bigger than original, and is completely custom. The tub is from 1932 and has Brass feet. The customers are completely thrilled with the results.

Roof Replacement

Aug 2014

This was an insurance claim. I stepped in and worked with their insurance company to ease the stress of a leaking roof. The job went perfectly and they are very happy with their new roof.

Foundation Fiasco

Mar 2014

This customer was concerned that the side of their house was buckling and bulging. A contractor had come out their house and told them that their roof was causing the problem. The homeowner was wanting a second opinion. When i came out to look at their project i noticed that there was no ventilation on the side of the house and that the buckling was below their toe plate. That means to me that they had foundation issues. When I opened up the side of the house there was an alarming amount of mold, and the pier and beam supports were undersized and placed on a hill. On a side note the homeowner said they had continuous sinus infections which was remedied once the mold problem was fixed. The floor joist were rotten and so were the toe plates. When I tried to jack up the house the support beams were falling apart because they were eaten up with mold. Long story short...I killed the mold, replaced the boards and put in leveled and large piers to support the house. I also put in a vent at the bottom of the house so that the mold couldn't return. This customer was very happy to have their house on a safe and secure foundation with no more mold.

The White Shower

Aug 2013

This shower was done for a lady that had previously hired me to remodel the living spaces in her home. She wanted a custom shower that was handicap accessible, but also very relaxing. The shower has a 3x6 white subway tile with a white grout. A rain head was added to compliment the standard shower head. The entire bathroom area is tiled. it is quite a unique look.

Utility Installaton

Jul 2013

This customer had just purchased 14 acres with no utilities. They hired me to bring water and electricity onto their land where their future house would be. The first step was working with the city to get permits to road bore under a state highway. One of my services is working with insurance companies and local code enforcement to ease some of the burden the homeowners feel during projects. Since I am second generation in building and remodeling I know the hangups that happen when working with permits and insurance claims, and can smooth out the problems pretty quickly. These homeowners were on a tight deadline so this experience came in handy. I run water in an inch and a half pipe to boost water pressure and volume. I also bury water pipes three to four feet deep so the water is cold when you use it, and also to keep future underground projects from hitting the pipes. The Electricity I ran underground to keep unsightly power lines of of their property. Once the house was delivered I hooked up their utilities to their house. I also installed their septic tank system. The whole thing came together with no hangups, and the people were as happy as they could be.
