Install

My need was to cut my granite counter to accommodate a new drop in stove top. I also needed to have a microwave mounted above the stove top. I initially contacted Robert LeBlanc on June 22th . through the Porch team website. He said that he had been doing this type of work for 24 years. He asked for me to send pictures of my present cook top area which I did. He told me to go on and purchase the cook top and the microwave. I purchased these two items and contacted him on June 28th to let him know. He told me he would be at my house either Thursday or Friday. There was no call-no show. On June 30th. I e-mailed again to ask when he would be able to come so we could prep the area-no response. On July 2nd. I e-mailed again to ask if he could please come after the 4th.He replied 'should be able to'. On July 7th. I e-mailed him again saying we are still in need of his services. He replied 'no problem-I got busy-still have you on my list.' On July 25th, I e-mailed again and explained we are teachers, and need to have the work done before we go back to school the first week of August. He replied 'I should be able to get to you this week. I have been on vacation for 2 weeks.' I thanked him, and then he asked for my address. I never heard from him. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I look at these two appliances everyday he told me to go on and purchase, but they sit on the floor still in the box. If he did not want to do the work he should have told us. I don't understand someone who vocalizes how well he can do his job, but then does not show up to do it. The only way I would use him or the the Porch team ever, is if they did the work for free.
