She said that her grandfather was the "best painter in the islands". I went on the advice of that kindergartener and found out that he indeed was the best! My home's paint job was the envy of the neighborhood! Kendall and his workers are skilled painters and did a better job then I expected. They took time to fill and sand all the cracks and rough spots. They made my house look new. This past summer I called him up to paint my house again. It still looked great after 12 years but I wanted to freshen my house up. Once again I was extremely satisfied! Kendall is honest, kind, responsible, and a hard worker. There's no one better than him. His granddaughter was right! Gary U. They did an excellent job to prep the house - including the sealing/painting of the bottom edge of our walls all along the foundation to protect the wood from rot. "Aloha"- starting from when Kendall first comes to "Scope Out" the job, we couldn't help but notice his "Big Aloha Smile" and very "Friendly Aloha Style"! I mean he not only came to check out our house that, surly needed to be painted but also addressed a lot of our concerns: from planning of setting up safe scaffolding, to proper prep work, to choosing of paint colors, to application of paint, to proper clean up and finally to his Aloha belief in "Customer Satisfaction"! As for "Painting", one can tell that the crew, have a lot of "knowledge and experience" just by observing the way they handle themselves - very well organized, methodical and done with a "Can Do Attitude"! They did such a great job repainting our house and worked well with our budget without skimping on quality work. Kendall and company came in with a competitive quote and great work but beyond that Kendall is very professional and he listens. How often do you meet contractors that actually listen to what you are saying? Rare as hen's teeth. Also, when some of the paint spray got on our solar panels, they were very responsive and cleaned it up as soon as possible. Over a year later, I called Kendall to ask how much he would charge to clean the eaves that were mildewy from Maunawili climate. He just came and did it and refused the money! I would highly recommend Aloha Painting.
