I hired Mr James Ray through this website on 06/04/2018 To clean my pool, fix the 2 small areas of my liner that had come loose-fill it and, add starter chemicals. He came that day to asses what i needed done. He told me he should drain it completely to clean it well, scrub it down etc..I told him he must use the heaters to drain it down so as not to ruin my liner-Hallmark Pools and Spas say exactly the same and, did exactly that when they only drained my pool halfway in the past-which helped stretch the liner easily. I warned him a few times but he ASSURED ME that that would NOT HAPPEN he had done this several times before. I told him that both I and, Sheila say to use heaters but if he is sure SURE then okay but, IF IT HAPPENS he would OWE ME/US a NEW LINER-he agreed 100%-if it happened he promised me a new liner. He drained it-scrubbed it and told me to watch it fill to a certain level-i asked why he was'nt going to check on it-he said just watch it until this level then call me( I paid him half the money agreed upon). The next day, mid afternoon I had to run errands-I text him once again-ARE YOU SURE??? He said yes, go ahead-Its fine. I was gone 2 hours, i came back, ran outside and BAM!-not only was it falling in several MORE AREAS it had also now RIPPED beyond repair. I text him frantic-he came, he measured for the new liner. HE PROMISED to keep me updated, about 5 days later, nothing, so I text him-"oh I am sorry_ i have been in hospital with my girlfirend (she has lost our baby) Of course I felt bad and gave my condolences-I text a few times a week or more later "oh, I JUST got back to work-so give me a bit"-he did not answer a few times I text him after that-Then, he wanted OTHER measurements for the order...more waiting. Finally-after hearing NOTHING-I called him today 3rd JULY 2018-he answered, heard me, said wait a minute, then hung up on me-now all my calls are going to voicemail..UNBELIEVABLE! I have reported him to PORCH-I have reported this to Hallmark Pools and, Spa's after asking 'THEM how long does it take to cut a new liner'? NOW, he has until the end of the week before I take legal action against him if he does not call me and fix this. I was so hoping to surprise my husband when he came home. So so sad:( I thought these were THE PROFESSIONALS?
