We needed a camera to look into our septic system. Talked to the "Deceptionist" 2 or 3 times on the phone. One of those at length about price. All she told me was $95.00 an hour. No details about any other charges. She even said they would pro-rate the charges if it took over one hour. I was very clear that we needed them to come here with a camera capable of going into the line/pipe. When the 2 guys arrived, (on a job that required only ONE guy) I showed them where the pipe was that I HAD EXPOSED in the ground in 6 DIFFERENT PLACES for a length of about 40 ft. BUT, they said they needed to send their rodding machine into the pipe to make sure it was the correct pipe. But, it was very obvious what that pipe was. So, they charged us for their travel time to and from the job, they charged for the use of their rodding machine $55.00 that they didn't need to use. They charged $150. 00 for the use of their camera, and $35.00 an hour for the "apprentice" that they didn't need to send. Final cost $432.50. DO NOT use them unless you get A DETAILED WRITTEN estimate IN ADVANCE.
