Carlos Godina of Godina Remodeling contacted me after I submitted an inquiry for drywall job for my mother's residence. He came out & met my mother and basically lowball bid the job and my mother thought he was a nice young man. We still took other quotes/bids. Carlos was relentless on follow up and my mother decided that his tenacity in pursuing this job was commendable and spoke with him at length about the dry wall project. Carlos promised a professional crew and a professional drywall install from beginning to end. They agreed on 50% up front & balance at the completion. As the project went along, my mother started to notice poor workmanship and was pointing these faults out. Carlos would apologize & try to patch the work. What was promised a 4 day project/job became a week. What followed after that was Carlos not coming to do any work and sending family & friends to my mother's house and no one did anything while they were there. (talking on phone & no one stayed longer than 15 minutes). After many phone calls from my mother to Carlos, he promised he'll finished the job himself. Upon the next visit, Carlos demanded the balance of the payment for equipment/supplies and my mother believed him and paid him in full. After nearly two weeks of MIA, Carlos is not returning calls, text or Facebook messenger. He is still doing business, I see he has activities on Facebook posts. But he has pretty much ignored the completion of my mother's house and moved on to the next.
