The Van with the owner was driving very fast and reckless on Highway 86... Be careful. Also has a very quick bad temper... told me verbally (when I called to warn him of the danger he is imposing on other drivers) and texted me with... F**k Off

We called Kent following a reference from a friend of a friend in Palm Springs. We live in San Diego and rent monthly our place in Palm Springs. Our guest in December contacted us and told us that the fan on the heating unit would not cut off even after the heater shut down. Kent went out and replaced the thermostat and told us that there were further issues with the unit that he needed to replace for a total fee of $606. We have been using the unit every weekend ourselves lately and when the temperature rose to the point of needing AC this week, we discovered that the AC compressor would not engage so no cold air was circulating. I called Kent who informed me that it would be $75 for him to come and check the unit and ultimately hung up on me. I called another company who came out and located the issue - the thermostat had been incorrectly wired causing the AC unit to malfunction. There was also wiring inside the heater cabinet that had been incorrectly configured. Upon further investigation, I found that Kent had not even been close to the AC compressor which is on the roof which he told me was the cause of the AC issue. (He also told me that it was and old unit and it is pretty new) I looked up the thermostat that he installed which was $69 at Best Buy. If these were normal times, I would take Mr Kent to Small Claims Court for outright fraud, but unfortunately that cannot happen at present.

This wa the worse contractor I've ever delt with. The tech banged his ladder into the walls and furniture, Couldn't find a simple light switch to turn on the attic light. Complained about the heater system. Was told before the tech arrived what part needed to be replaced. The Gas Company had investigated the leak and identified the part to be fixed, but said it had to be replaced by a HAVAC company, so this information was communicated at the start but ignored. The tech was rude and didn't seem to know what to fix or even care to make the repair. All he wanted was the fee for the servi ce call. Tried to leave trash on my porch. Would not recommend would give no stars or a negative star if I could.

Extremely incompetent HVAC person. Didn't know how to repair our HVAC. Only wanted to replace the equipment. Very hostile passive aggressive person. After he drove off, we found his van tires all over our landscaping. He drove his van over the side of the driveway onto our lawn and cracked the sprinkler and pipes underneath. Total disaster contractor, one of the worst.
