After a conversation with Mr. Bob Flecken I had an excellent customer service with WestCoast gates company. The technicians arrived on-time, they have the know-how experience to be able to fix main driveway custom high end gate. The invoice for $455.00 reflects the high quality workmanships of the company staff and customer service.

COMPANY WITH PREDETORIAL BEHAVIOR ABUSE OF THE CUSTOMER OVERCHARGED ME FOR LABOR ANDPARTS Mr. Wood, Mr. Robert, Samuel Ross (Ceo / President), Gary Ovsiowitz (Officer) I call your office to make an appointment to fix the main driveway gate that the post was a little loose and the small gate the key did not open as we rarely open this small gate. I received invoice from Westcoast gate & Entry for $955.00 on June 21st, 2021, which is extreme prices; huge markup and incorrect labor spent at the premises. Labor $90.00 per 4 hours, my 3 Ring surveillance cameras shows the 2 technicians which only 1 technician was needed for this Job, stayed 1 hour 45 minutes time of arrival to my house and departure. Arrival time 10:39:00 AM departure time 12:25:10 PM however why I have been charged for 4 hours At $90.00 each hour ?? Invoice states welding perform, the workers removed the old screws from main driveway and installed longer screws which was the cause of the post to be a little loose, for the small gate they key opened it and workers did not have to do anything for $595.00 it is outrageous prices to replace screws. Nobody charges traveling time specially if I knew that your company is in Corona, CA long distance to West LA. Your company reviews are not very high: Huge Markup on Parts and Labor! Unless you're made of money, there's no good reason to use this company. Highly recommend seeking other options first! We were charged $525 for 2 parts that cost less than $90 (over 500% markup)! And over $200 for less than an hour's worth of work, and that was after negotiating to waive the $95 service call fee! I called the company to verify the parts cost discrepancy (to make sure I was comparing the right part price, and they un-apologetically confirmed the huge markup and said, "that's their price"! After waiting around all day with zero communication....They didn't show up within their scheduled time and then offered to charge me double to show up later after I'd already waited around all day for them. I'm not sure if it's common practice to leave customers with no choice but to pay for an emergency service after making them wait all day for no one to show up for their scheduled service or if this is a special scam for just me but either way if you ever need your gate fixed, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We paid full price for them to hook-up the driveway gate and entry gate and expected a lock key situation. They did as little as possible and expected the electrician to complete their job! The electrician we've used for years told me that in his 24 years he has never seen such an unprofessional situation. I called your office on June 21st, and Porsha stated they will make a resolution on the invoice, on June 27th I received email with the same invoice amount which is inaccurate what they did and what I was charged for labor 4 hours at $90.00, if the company sent 2 technicians and only 1 was needed and they stated only for 1:45 Minutes why do I get overcharged; it is consumer abuse; the same the gate only needed longer screws. I will not pay for this abusive invoice; I will make a complaint to the California Contractors License Board and the Better Business Bureau and write reviews Online of this excessive invoice. In hopes that management finds a better accurate amount resolution for this invoice.
