Herndon Services LLC

I recently had Herndon Services do some painting and some drywall repair to my home. He did an extremely good job, was courteous, and was very reasonable with his pricing. He also touched up several spots at no extra charge. I would definitely hire him again.

Bought a home August 14, 2017 in which the seller paid for several things to be done prior to closing. Everything was completed with the exception of gutter installation so we went ahead and closed. On 8-15-17 I asked when the gutters would be done only to get no reply. On 8-16-17 I heard back and he said they would be out the evening of 8-17-17 to install the gutters. On that day, I pulled up at the house and he was parked out front. I introduced myself and he said that he didn't have the gutters and that they would be done the next week, but that he was having a hard time finding someone to do the job because it was "so small". He said he could refund the money, or he would make sure it was done the next week. I told him we would just like it done, and he said ok. Fast forward to 9-11-17 - we never heard anything from him, so I texted him again wanting him to refund us the $378 so we could have someone else do it. He replied that he would check with the gutter company in the morning and get back to me first thing (the next day which would have been 9-12-17). We never heard back again. I texted on 9-15-17 and received no reply, again asking for the money to be returned. I texted again on 9-30-17 and received no replay, again asking for the money to be returned. No reply. Fast forward to today, 12-19-17 and demanded that the money be returned to us. He continues to avoid answering me about returning the money. His last text said he would have to "transfer the into to our office manager because we have had your gutters for a while...". I replied and stated we want the money back, and have hired someone else. Still no reply. Stay away from this company. Poor communication and excuse after excuse, IF you can even get him to reply.
