Our house was new construction in 2016. Our downstairs window beneath our deck facing North has leaked since our first year in the house (whenever we get a storm from the North or East). We tried to get it fixed through the warranty the first year but the manufacturer said it was the installer and vice versa. The builders came out and caulked everything but they would not do anything more. No improvement. My husband has redone the flashing, applied more self-sealing tape for the flashing and caulked everything around the window. No improvement. It could be from the window installation or where the deck attaches to the house.
