TMC Contracting

I had an absolutely awful experience with this company. The owner, Tim, came out to our house to do a bid. He looked over all of our supplies: tile, cement board, mortar, grout, vanity, shower pan, etc. He wrote us a bid, and his employees who came to do the work said it would be completed in four days. On the morning of day three, Tim showed up unannounced and asked to talk to me and my partner. From the moment Tim arrived, he was rude, condescending, and dismissive of our concerns. He tried to shake us down for more money, claiming he hadn’t realized the tiles were small and that the flooring was supposed to be tile as well—something we had clearly communicated and shown him. He failed to pay attention to these critical details, and tried to charge us more for labor because of his own lack of preparation. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the owner then proceeded to spout unsolicited religious views in my home, which was both inappropriate and made me feel deeply uncomfortable. He kept escalating the situation, making rude and snarky remarks, and said that they weren’t going to complete the work. We agreed that was best and told him to leave our house. He left a mess in his wake because he made the crew stop working midway through tiling, and he started grabbing all of their stuff to toss it outside while yelling “Ándele!” at his workers! The lack of professionalism, respect for boundaries, and failure to follow through on the project was truly shocking. I would never hire this company again, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a contractor who can actually do the job right without trying to manipulate you for more money or impose personal beliefs.

Tim Miller promised to reimburse us $1900 for a mistake his crew made and we were forced to cover the cost. He acknowledged it was his responsibility and committed to repay on two different dates months after we spent the money. He never reimbursed us. Stay away from TMC or do not pay them a dime until the job is 100% complete.

Tim Miller/TMC Contracting took our deposit 2 years ago and never did any work. He has a history of stealing from people in this way and then filing bankruptcy. He is a thief and a liar. Do not call him or God forbid hire him for anything! He is one bad actor.

Tim Miller the owner of TMC contracting took my deposit money and never started my shower remodel . He also didn't refund my deposit money and I had to take him to court and obtain a garnishment for the money he owes me! Even with the garnishment, I still have not been paid back in full. I would suggest to any home owner considering this company to stay away. This man is a narcissistic criminal and I don't wish dealing with this criminal!
