Tim Miller promised to reimburse us $1900 for a mistake his crew made and we were forced to cover the cost. He acknowledged it was his responsibility and committed to repay on two different dates months after we spent the money. He never reimbursed us. Stay away from TMC or do not pay them a dime until the job is 100% complete.

Tim Miller/TMC Contracting took our deposit 2 years ago and never did any work. He has a history of stealing from people in this way and then filing bankruptcy. He is a thief and a liar. Do not call him or God forbid hire him for anything! He is one bad actor.

Tim Miller the owner of TMC contracting took my deposit money and never started my shower remodel . He also didn't refund my deposit money and I had to take him to court and obtain a garnishment for the money he owes me! Even with the garnishment, I still have not been paid back in full. I would suggest to any home owner considering this company to stay away. This man is a narcissistic criminal and I don't wish dealing with this criminal!

Never use TMC painting I know others may have had good experiences but I wanted to share our own experience when things go wrong with Tim Miller at TMC over the last 2 years. So much to this story but quick summary: Back in Oct 2017, Had house to paint. Interior walls and doors/trim. Gave full access to home 24/7 for 2 weeks. We were not in home during this time. Painter's DREAM. Came back home to peeling paint on all doors and window trim due to no primer being applied to oil based paint. They put latex over it so it didn't stick. Told Tim. Took him 1 week to tell me he'll work on fixing it. Tim then sent his two CONTRACT workers back out to fix everything. Asked us to be displaced for another 3 days. We came to check progressone day only to find contract workers gone, money $500 missing from kid's piggy bank (our fault for not putting away), and Tim pleading to be able to do work himself since the guys quit on him and are no where to be found. We gave him 2 days, came home, looked ok but was drying. Tim wanted payment so naturally we gave him a settled amount minus the hotels costs we were out for being displace. Paint continued to peel in new areas that were not fixed. Tim said he won't fix it any more or send a contractor out to fix since "he's losing money on the deal." We went to small claims court, won. Verdict took a whole 5 min. 1.5 YEARS later , Tim is paying off the debt 500 every 3-6 months. Keeps promising he will pay it off. I have been trying to get the last $1200 to finally be paid back (and not even made whole as the rework took well over what he owes me but 5k was max in small claims). He tells ME that I'M being rude expecting money any faster (entire settlement was less than $5500). I notice he has no issues getting jobs and is clearly making money. Garnishing wages doesn't work as he closes his accounts or keeps them at $0 to not pay. Finally turned him over to collections today and will pay a 25% recovery fee if money is ever recovered. He still feels that HE is the victim because he had to lose money over the job. He clearly doesn't know the definition of "victim" or "actively paying debt. I asked him if he allows his own customers to pay over the course of 2 years and have patches painted at a time. I would strongly caution anyone that is considering TMC to demand that no contractors are used (then he would have to do the work since he doesn't employee his own employees) and you pay NOTHING up front. We made the mistake of paying half. If anyone needs news story link to the situation, the case number, or text from Tim to validate anything I wrote, happy to provide!
