Remodeling Contractor - Katy, TX

Sick of self labeled pros? Looking for trained, licensed professionals that love what they do and take pride in every swing of their hammer? Concerned that your budget can't accomplish your vision. I started this company on the belief that as long as we can produce a quality job that exceeds expectations in a timely fashion, then we can do it for a low cost to meet the homeowners budget. Don't strive to get rich off people, aim to make people happy and let the chips lie where they fall.

Eric at Home Star Remodeling promised that our back patio would be completed by May 6, 2017. He hadn't fully completed the job and was already asking for final payment. In good faith, we paid him and he never returned. We tried contacting Eric many times and he either ignored us to bid on and work on other jobs, or promised he'd be at our house to finish and would never show up. In fact, once we even texted him from a different number than mine (requesting a bid) and he responded right away, after ignoring my calls and texts for a prolonged period of time. It is 6 weeks past promise date and he has gone completely cold on us and will not answer calls or return texts. I do not recommend Eric. If you give him final payment, you'll never see him again

Custom deck | May 2017 | The homeowner originally wanted a gazebo. When I presented then with my estimate, they were surprised by the cost and decided to shop around (Which is something I encourage). Before parting was I gave them a few pointers on what to expect out of a contractor and what to do as a homeowner to protect themselves from purchasing a regretful project. Not long after they contacted me again and asked me if i could make a deck work in their budget instead of the gazebo, and I reassured them that it is always cheaper to go out than up. Point being, I care about what I do and I take pride in it. Weather or not we do business together, I will always give free advice and honest opinions to keep the hack workers away that make it harder for real tradesman to earn trust | $3k | Katy, TX | |
