Elevation Express Land Survey

Do not do business with these people. They are dishonest and shady! I requested a survey and elevation certification at 9:30am on 7/11/18 and was told that it takes 6-10 business days to process. In the evening on 7/12/18 I attempted to cancel the appointment and was told that the survey had already been completed. That was fine and I had no issue paying it. At 9:35 on 7/14/18 my realtor, my SO, my in-laws and I went to the property to look at the house and property once more. Upon inspection we notice that there were not only no stakes marking the location of the survey pins but there was no indication, evidence or even mild grass disturbances in the areas where the pins are located which would have shown that a survey occurred. After contacting the company (who is located 56min away from the property) we were told that they performed the survey and would COME BACK on Monday to put stakes in the ground! Despite the company being closed on Saturday we received an invoice and a survey that was time stamped 4:42pm on 7/14/18 and included in that email were pictures from the wrong house as well as coordinates and information on the survey DISAGREEING WITH THE PREVIOUS SURVEY!!! I have photographed proof as well as corespondent documentation on the issues I have described. I am beyond livid and will be reporting them to the Texas Board of Profession Land Surveying as well as the Better Business Bureau. Again we have ample evidence of their falsehoods and shady business practices do not do business with this company!!

I called this company, because I needed an elevation certificate for flood insurance. I informed them I wouldn’t be home the day we arranged for them to come. They informed me I wasn’t needed on the site for them to do their work. They told me them come out about 2:30pm and they left about 3:30pm. My neighbor told me no one was there at that time, so my husband checked our camera’s to see if someone had shown up and I neighbor somehow “missed” them. Well, they called to collect their fee and when I told them how could they give me a certificate if they didn’t even come out, they argued they did. When I told them I have ALL DAY footage of NOBODY coming to my home, they hung up never to be heard from again. It passed me off!!!

Horrible Experience with Elevation Express Land Surveys!!! Ordered elevation certificate on July 23, 2014. Didn’t hear back from them for 7 business days so called them. Same lady that took the order knew nothing about status of our order but said she will find out and call back. She didn’t call back so I called her the next day- Friday. Same promise and same result- no call back. Again called her on Monday. Again- no answers. Finally, after me calling again two times from different phones (she would not pick up if I called from my number) on Tuesday- which was after waiting for two weeks!!!- she said they are very busy and cannot come out to do the elevation certificate. Wow. After the aggravation of having to call and call and waisted two weeks, would never do business with Elevation Express Land Surveys again and would not recommend them to anyone!
