1 Call Service

Our experience with Tim was nothing less than absolutely horrible. Tim showed up a few weeks ago (at the direction of the warranty company that Lowes provides) and spent a few minutes with the washing machine, then proceeded to say he had to talk to the Warranty Company and order some parts. We never heard from Tim again. After two weeks had passed, we called the warranty company to confirm next steps. Turns out they never heard back from Tim. Then a few days later, Tim Shipley was scheduled to come out the door switch and mechanism. Never mind that had been replaced before by the previous technician that the Warranty Company sent out. Tim didn't really want to listen to us or the challenges we had already faced with the washing machine. And once Tim proclaimed that the washing machine was "fixed" I called my wife to see if she had any questions. Tim got really antsy at that point (probably because he was already aware that he didn't fix anything). My wife started to ask that Tim stay to witness the cycle to confirm it would work. Tim threw his hands up in the air and started mumbling under his breath that he wouldn't stay because he "knew" it was fixed. He simply walked down the stairs and out the door. Didn't even say "thanks!" Well, the washing machine wasn't fixed! It didn't even complete the first cycle. Both my wife and I tried to call Tim and got VM. Great work, Tim. Not only did you NOT fix the washer, you were literally the most unprofessional person we have ever worked with. If you're reading this, I would highly urge you to find someone else.

I could change my review somewhere down the road, as I have worked with “1 Call Service” on my gas range now for almost 4 months. Back in January, I called Tim Shipley about my gas range on needing a service call. My home warranty company “Total Protect”, listed me with him, and told me to give him a call, which I did. Tim made the first call on my home in late January 2018, later, his work associate came and proceeded to try to remove the burners to repair the unit and broke all the screws. He rendered it unable to repair. I am a little bit upset with my home warranty company “total project” as they asked me to go with this company, and they have always given me a good company to go with. So far, this company has not proven to be reputable at all. Tim charged me $100 for fixing my range and told me that parts needed to be ordered and they would be back and repair it. That once again was four months ago. They came back out this week and said it could not be repaired so that it was up to my home warranty company “total protect”, I contacted them, and they told me it was up to me to get back with Tim to have him return my $100 as he had not repaired the unit. From this point on I knew that “total protect” was not going to help me and I would be leaving their service very quickly. In good faith, I paid “total project” $92.50 per month insurance on my home, the book that they issued to me stated that the most I would be out would be my $100 deductible and then they would take care of things from there. I have to admit, I had an air conditioner go out, and they did not deliver it to my front yard and set it down, but they installed it, charged me My $100 deductible and $200 for recovering the Freon which I understood was coming. So now, four months later, I have a stove top that still does not work, I’m out $100 to Tim Shipley, and “total protect” has told me that they will give me a cash settlement instead of replacing the item and this does not come anywhere close to replacing the unit that I had my house. Beware of “total project” and beware of Tim Shipley and “1 Call Service”. As I stated in my first sentence I may change this Review if in fact Tim gets back to me and refunds my $100 for not repairing my range which right now, he has not even had the courtesy to return my phone call. I have called him now three times requesting just a conversation with him, and he has refused to call me back. Once again, it could be that he’s busy, and if he is and he returns my $100, I will totally change this review as I will no longer have a dispute with Tim Shipley, but I will continue to have a dispute with “total protect gold” which no one should use to insure there home!! As Tim Shipley told me numerous times as he left my home “you have a blessed day”, wow! Enough said. You move Tim !

I had a great experience with 1 call service. I had an issue with a dishwasher that was also being handed through a home warranty. The guys completed the work in a timely matter and I would gladly use again.
