When we purchased a house with obstructed access to its "walk-in" attic, I hired an architect and structural engineer to advise us on how to make the storage space more usable; they referred me to Cormier Construction to execute the plan. Tim and his crew reconfigured attic beams blocking the entry and completed the undertaking within a tight time frame to accommodate our moving date. We went on to do many more projects with Tim over several months to update and renovate our house and were unfailingly impressed with his knowledge and expertise, his customer service attitude and responsiveness, and his practical advice. He often suggested alternative approaches to what I initially envisioned to produce an equal or better outcome at lower cost. He was also patient with my ever-expanding list of projects. Tim has totally earned our confidence and trust and each of his crew members is highly skilled in their particular area(s), and is punctual and polite. I highly recommend Cormier Construction without reservation. The projects he completed for us include: - Renovation of bathroom to remove tub and install curbless walk-in shower(house built on slab); add tall storage cabinet to fill awkward indentation in bathroom and utilize wasted space; add recessed medicine cabinets with mirror fronts in other bathrooms - Add utility sink and work counter with cabinets above and below as washing station in garage for our miniature dog; add utility closet and cabinets for extra storage; create drop zone and area to hang jackets and store boots; epoxy garage floor. - Replace exhaust system over cooktop and redesign hood to accommodate; add pull-outs to kitchen cabinets; replace tile backsplash behind cooktop. - Upgrade HVAC system and add fan in attic -Remove carpeting in bonus room over garage and install vinyl flooring -Replace vast majority of light fixtures and ceiling fans - Performed numerous other small projects such as painting, hanging mirrors and pictures, upgrading fixtures

I needed a ground floor bedroom to accommodate my Alzheimers afflicted mother in law to live with us. The scope of the work was a sun room/bedroom, full bath with lip-less shower, screen porch and kitchen update. The project took about 10 weeks to complete. Tim was easy to work with and has a keen sense of design that we really needed. He was able to put us in contact with outside design professionals to assist us in selecting the right cabinets, flooring, tile, etc. His crew are accomplished with very professional skills. (and I must say, very well mannered) They were dedicated to doing the job right and to my specifications. I am well pleased with the job, the workmanship, the relationship. I would engage Cormier Construction again if I ever need further work.

In January 2020, I had my roof replaced by Cormier Construction. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of materials used and workmanship I received. While doing the roof replacement, the workman discovered a problem with some missing material underneath the siding on my dormers. They offered to repair it and gave me a price I thought was very well in line. I could not be more happy with the work they did, the way my roof looks, and the professional way they do their business. Great people, top quality materials, they show up on time, and they complete their work when they say they will. I highly recommend Cormier Construction for any of your construction needs. They can do it all.

We recently purchased a home that needed quite a bit of updating. We hoped to complete this prior to moving in. We contacted Tim and he gave us an estimate very promptly and actually started the project before we expected. The quality of the work and the ability to work with Tim exceeded our expectations. We would certainly recommend him and would try to enlist him to do any future work we need.

Tobler Road | Aug 2017 | This project was a true transformation. We did several things to the exterior of this home. On the exterior we removed and replaced all existing trim, siding, fascia and soffits on the house with cement based, rot resistant materials. All trim and siding were caulked, primed and painted with two coats of exterior paint. We also installed a new Tyvek wind and moisture barrier on all of the exterior walls prior to the new siding going up. All windows on the home were removed and replaced with new, energy efficient windows. All interior window trim has also been replaced. We removed and replaced the French doors on the back of the house leading to the new deck. The other back door leading from the garage to the back yard was also replaced with a new steel door. We removed the existing deck, rim board and sill plate that had been rotted. A new deck was built, approximately 16’X 20’ with a frame of pressure treated Yellawood. The decking, hand rails and balusters were made with easy to care for composite material. We then removed any loose bricks on the chimney and replaced them with new ones, applied a new coat of cement on the chimney, and finally primed and painted the chimney to match the home. The front porch was refreshed by removing all of the existing wood hand rails, balusters and posts. We then replaced that with composite columns and added a tongue and groove ceiling. The front porch was freshly painted to match the exterior of the home as well. | Knoxville, TN
River Ridge | Dec 2016 | We built a custom addition with a new laundry room, pantry, deck and patio under the addition. | Knoxville, TN
Bentley Park Lane | Sep 2016 | New porch construction. | Knoxville, TN
Amberset Drive | Aug 2016 | This was a great project and it turned out beautifully. We added a large open air covered porch to the back of the house for this great couple and their 3 young children. This was a fantastic and much needed extra family area for them to all enjoy. The dimensions are 28’ X 15’ for the covered open air porch area. We installed a beadboard ceiling and two ceiling fans that were centered to each section of the new ceiling under the new covered open air porch. New trim was installed on all of the headers on the inside and outside of the new structure. Beautiful new 6”X6” pressure treated posts with decorative trim were applied over the framing to match their front porch. New architectural shingles were installed on the new roof to match the existing roof. We installed Hardie trim on all of the soffits and fascias as well and siding where it was needed. Flood lights were installed on each outside corner of the structure. Lastly, new gutters and downspouts were installed to match the size and color to what was already on the rest of the home. This whole job took only about 2 months! | Knoxville, TN
Newfane Circle | May 2016 | We removed and disposed of original deck. Dug new footings to a solid subgrade and filled them with concrete to support the new deck posts. We built a new deck with dimensions of 12’X16’ and properly flashed and bolted the deck to the house. All deck framing was built with pressure treated wood. The floor decking, handrails, stairs and stair balusters were all Yellawood, specifically. The deck balusters were made of pre-galvanized material with a black powder coat for a custom contrast detail. We then applied two coats of stain to all of the wood to enhance the look and extend the life of the new porch. Next, we framed in a new door under the existing sunroom. We installed new plywood on the exposed part of the house and placed a new moisture/wind barrier with taped seams on the plywood. We then installed new vinyl siding over the moisture barrier and pressure washed the gutters and the entire exterior of the home. Per customer request, we created a custom table for the deck with the same Yellawood that the deck was constructed from. | Knoxville, TN
Appaloosa Way | Jan 2016 | We renovated two areas of the home, the kitchen and the living room. Here is what we did to each area: Kitchen- We removed the counter tops, cabinets, sinks and existing lighting. The entire kitchen was completely redesigned and professionally upgraded to improve flow and functionality. We then moved the existing gas line to where the new cook top was to be installed. We moved the wall switches, ran a water line for a pot filler above the new cook top and removed the pantry. Time to put the kitchen back together. We then installed new recessed lights with new recess trim plus under cabinet lights and pendant lights. Next, we installed a new tile backsplash, cabinets, counter tops and a farm style sink. The new cook top was placed and the rest of the appliances added. Living Room- We removed all flooring and shoe molding. We then installed pre-finished hardwood flooring and all new baseboards. Next, we installed crown molding and added a beautiful white vinyl window with a transom by removing the brick outside of the living room. We added a brick outline and a keystone to make the addition of the window seamless on the exterior of the home. | Knoxville, TN
Eagles View | Dec 2015 | We built a 16’ X 21’ Sunroom addition attached to the home. We used composite for all of the decking instead of wood for this project. We then created three walls of mullioned windows with transoms over them inside the sunroom. We remodeled the brick chimney inside the Sunroom in stacked stone, and matched it to the outside foundation. A hand-painted beadboard ceiling and two ceiling fans were installed next. Natural sunlight illuminates the tile floors and enhances the painted interior walls with elegant white trim. The interior of the house is made accessible by two beautiful French doors. There is also an exterior door with a small porch area and convenient steps out onto the back lawn. | Knoxville, TN
Eagles View Bathroom | Dec 2015 | Along with the porch at Eagles view we also updated a bathroom in the home. | Knoxville, TN
Bentley Park | Nov 2015 | We completely removed the existing deck. We built a new screened in porch and a wheelchair accessible ramp, which was built with composite decking. The porch has vinyl siding on the outside gable end, where we created a 6’ x 6’ open deck for a grill. We moved the existing gas line out to the new deck. The shingles of the porch are matched to the shingles of the home to create a cohesive look. We installed a tongue and groove pine wood cathedral ceiling with sky lights and a pendant fan light combination. | Knoxville, TN |
