A.C.E. Cabinets

My wife and I found this substandard contractor on Home Advisor. We are now aware that Home Advisor contractors pay Home Advisor for referrals, and in turn Home Advisor shields them from negative reviews. This contractor was rated five stars. Yet despite being listed on Home Advisor for three years and garnering numerous Home Advisor awards, they only managed to post eight reviews. All five star of course. I agreed to this contractors estimate to install $8500.00 dollars (21 total) of new solid wood cabinets my wife and I purchased. The kitchen was prepped and fully ready for the when A.C.E. Cabinets arrived. Of the 21 cabinets that needed installation, they had half of them installed four hours after they started the work including the crown moulding. This would have been impressive had we not later learned that A.C.E. failed to install the proper filler panels to slow installation of the microwave, and align with the lower cabinetry do that the stove could be installed. Door and drawer handles were also installed off level. As well as damage to my freshly refinished drywall. Trim was hastily installed with nail gun brads do small the trim was loose. And the cabinet drawers and doors that were installed were left improperly aligned. Due to the improper placement of the upper cabinetry some of the cabinet doors Dan not fully open. Other serious issues with the install became apparent when the granite contractor made templates off of the cabinetry. In short, this contractor rushed though the work, and left what should have been a simple kitchen cabinet install a disaster. If you want quality cabinet installer who pays attention to details, look elsewhere. A.C.E. Cabinets performs handy man workmanship at best.
