Chris at HK Paint & Drywall was a pleasure to work with. He came over and looked the place over, not sending me a blind bid. He gave me a thorough bid that included the scope of the work needed. My house was a complicated paint job with lots of detail and prep work required. I’m also very particular about how I want the work done. I like all the screws on the switch-plates going the same direction kind of picky! Chris had the patience of a saint. He quoted and then showed up to start the job. I didn’t have the rooms cleared because we were living there when he painted but I didn’t know where he was going to start. I asked the man of the house to clear the closet as that was where they were starting and I had an appointment. I got back and all the stuff was out of the closet and Chris’s employee was working at painting the walk-in closet. I know the industry standard is to move everything 3 feet from the walls to be painted and have all personal art put away. Chris never mentioned having to move my dressers and clothes out of my closet because my guy didn’t do it. Talk about a contractor who spoils and babies his clients. After he finished that room I changed my mind on the color for the rest of the house, even though he had already bought the paint, included in the bid. Not a complaint or sigh again. I ran and got 3 gallons to get them started on the new color and Chris got more paint the next day to continue working on the job. When the painting was all done Chris asked for my approval before payment. He never collected a dime before the job. It took 8 days, he was very reasonable on price, I think too low. After I paid him he said to give him a call if I caught anything they had missed. I called 3 weeks later for some minor touch-up and he came back on his day off and worked for about 3 hours. I don’t think you’ll find a more conscientious painter or business man in Las Vegas. He’s a pleasure to work with, he has a great attitude and I respect how good he is to his employees. Would definitely hire him again, if he’d work for me again.

We hired HK Paint and Drywall in November 2015 to paint the exterior of our 16 year old home. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. We hired Chris from HK Paint Drywall to paint our living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer and hallway, paint the crown molding, replace the base boards and paint the interior doors. We could not believe how much better our house looked, everyone who walks in the door thinks the house looks larger and nicer. The team was professional and very tidy. They worked on our house for 3 days. Every evening they cleaned up, making our home livable during the process. They were kind to our 18 year old cat who also felt at home with this team. We can't wait to bring them back to paint the bedrooms and study! I've recommened them to family and friends. We are delighted with the professional results and the beautiful new color!
