This broker has been withholding rents for 3 months, refuses to provide copies of leases or any other information regarding tenants to the landlord, is illegally holding tenant security deposits, and does not respond to any attempts to make contact. Also, this broker, Beverly Schaeffer, had to surrender her broker license in California for similar illegal activities. If you are considering using this company for ANY real estate services, you should RUN AWAY as fast as you can. If you are a client or tenant of theirs and they are doing something wrong, you should file a legal complaint ASAP.

We are getting ready to file a complaint and go after Ms Schaeffer after numerous attempts to contact her for the return of our deposits on two properties, as well as two months rent each-held on both properties. Be very interested if anyone else has filed legal proceedings as she has since filed herself as an LLC

I want to file a complaint against my broker, Beverly Schaeffer. I had two rental transactions on September 2018, and have not received my commission for those transactions. My broker said she did not receive the checks from my clients. I told my clients that the money was not received at my office, but they said it was cashed out. I asked them to check with the bank where the money was deposited, and the bank investigation came back showing the money was deposited into Beverly Schaeffer’s private account. I called my broker, emailed her, and came to the office a whopping 15 times in an attempt to speak to her, but she was AWOL. It’s been two months already, and I still have not received my commissions. The two transactions are for: 1. 8600 Charleston Blvd. #1007 – Owner Daniel Zilberberg – check sent on 09/17/2018 for the amount of $1,000 2. 8544 Sahara Blvd. #238 - Owner Zion Nissim – check sent on 09/14/2018 for the amount of $1,025. Holding someone’s commission for no reason and depositing it into a private account is absolutely unacceptable, and I am looking to have the division send a clear message to my broken that this is not the way business is done, and to force her to pay me my money immediately. It’s already several months overdue. I also think that you ought to come up with a clear order that it is illegal for brokers to hold their agents’ commission. It’s theft, and theft is against the law and should bear consequences.
