Homeowners had storm damage to their roof and needed assistance working with the insurance company. We met with the adjuster and showed him our findings. We were able to get the roof and separate garage fully claimed out and replaced at no cost to homeowner! We had a dumpster delivered, 15-yard along with all material. As soon as we had 2 clear days we proceeded with roof replacement. We had to remove the awning and reinstall once roof was completed. The roof is a 1-story, 7/12 pitch and had 2-layers already existing. The shingles that were existing were Black 3-tab shingles. We upgraded the homeowners to Owens Corning 30-yr to Lifetime warrantied Tru Definition Architectural shingles at no additional cost, due to the rebate the we receive from the distributor. The removed and replaced with new all of the pipe flanges, vents, and reinstalled the turbines. We installed ice shield self adhesive membrane on all valleys and low pitched areas. We installed 15# felt throughout. We installed new step-flashing and reinforced the counter-flashing. We installed new ridge cap. Color chosen on shingles was Driftwood. We cleaned out all gutters. This job took us 2 business days to complete. We cleaned up and hauled off all debris. The dumpster was removed. We ran magnetic rollers around property to ensure all nails were picked up. We came over and inspected homeowners roof because she was worried about hail damage. We found a significant amount of hail and wind damage to her roof and gutters. We assisted her with the insurance claim process. We met with the adjuster on the day he came to assess the property damage. The insurance company agreed to the damage caused by May 2016 storms and offered to have roof fully replaced, as well as all of her gutters and front window screens! All of this and no $ out of pocket for the homeowner. We scheduled for work to take place and ordered the material and dumpster which was delivered within 2 days. This roof was 2-story, 1-layer, 7/12-10/12 pitch, totaling about 52 square. We upgraded homeowner to a better architectural Owens Corning shingle at no additional cost, due to rebate that we receive. We installed 30-yr to Lifetime warrantied Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles. Color chosen was Estate Grey. We removed and replaced all of the pipe flanges and vents. We installed ice shield self-adhesive membrane in all of the valleys and low pitched areas. We installed 15# felt throughout for shingle underlayment. We installed new step-flashing and reinforced the counter-flashing. We installed new ridge cap. We placed a 15-Year Workmanship Warranty, No Leak policy and filed out the Owens Corning Lifetime Warranty on the shingles. This job was completed in 2 business days. This wonderful couple called us out to look at their Florida Room. It was in bad shape, leaking and pulling away from the house. They wanted an estimate to replace it completely. Curtis came up with a new design for them and they loved it! We ended up building a 12 x 30 rear addition on their home. We also rebuilt and screened in the lower patio. There had been some recent storms in the past few months so we inspected their roof and found significant storm damage to make an insurance claim. We were able to get their roof fully replaced on the entire home through the insurance company at no cost to them! It took us about 5 weeks but in that time we tore down the old florida room, which was 28 x 8 and disposed of all debris. We then framed up the new 30 x 12 rear addition which was 1-story from the ground. We extended the back patio and poured concrete for a sidewalk, as well as built a screened in room underneath the new rear addition. We replaced the entire roof and upgraded the homeowners, at no additional cost, to 30-yr to Lifetime warrantied Owen Corning Tru Definition Architectural Shingles. We built the roof onto the new rear addition and tied into the residence. We installed new windows, siding, guttering, soffit and fascia on the new addition. On the interior of the new addition, we installed Bead Board on the walls throughout and installed a vinyl ceiling. We installed a new ceiling fan and reinstalled the A/C unit for the new addition. We installed recessed cans for lighting. We handmade all of the trim throughout. We installed sub-flooring and hardwood flooring. Please see the before, during and after pictures. The homeowner had called us because he saw that we had completed a roof replacement and other projects for his neighbor. He had extensive damage to his home from a storm and was going through the insurance process. An adjuster had already come out and looked at the damage. He was having some trouble so we were able to assist him through the process and meet with the adjuster again. We were able to assist him in getting the funds through the insurance company to get his entire roof replaced, the gutters replaced, and a tree removed that had fallen onto the roof. We upgrade all of our clients to an Owens Corning Lifetime Tru Definition Architectural Shingle at no charge. We believe very highly in these shingles and all Owens Corning products. Once the insurance scope and paperwork came in, we sat down with the homeowners and wrote up our proposal for all of the projects. We immediately ordered all materials and scheduled for the work to begin. We had a 15-yard dumpster delivered on site and placed as close to home as possible for easy debris removal. Once materials were on site and weather was clear we tore off the existing 1-layer of 3-tab shingles and existing felt. We inspected all of the roof decking and replaced all decking that was damaged and/or rotted with new 15/32nd OSB. The roof is a 2-story, Hip/Ridge style and 7/12-9/12 pitch. We removed and replaced all pipe flanges. We painted all pipes and protrusions with accessory paint for cosmetics. We removed and replaced (8) black metal 750 box vents with new. We installed low profile ridge vent where needed. We installed ice shield membrane in approx. 2 valleys and all flat spaces. We installed a starter shingle around entire base perimeter overhanging 1 1/4 inches for water to flow into guttering properly. We also installed a vertical rake shingle on all gable edges. We installed a Lifetime Owens Corning Tru Definition Architectural Shingle throughout entire roof. Color chosen was Driftwood. We installed step-flashing throughout all areas needed. We sealed around the existing counter flashing to reinforce. We installed approx. 138 linear feet of new ridge cap throughout entire roof ridge areas. We cleaned up and hauled off all debris. We removed all existing guttering and downspouts on entire home. We then installed all new 5 inch Aluminum Seamless Gutters and Downspouts throughout. Color chosen was Clay. We sloped gutters properly and all gutters were installed with brackets and screws. We cut up the tree that had fallen on the rear of home and disposed of all debris. We ran magnetic rollers around property to ensure all nails had been picked up to the best of our ability. We filled out the Owens Corning Lifetime Warranty on the shingles and gave to homeowner to mail in. We placed a 15-Year Workmanship Warranty, No Leak Policy, on all roof work completed. Homeowners had noticed some storm damage to their roof and needed an inspection. During inspection, we found significant wind and hail damage to proceed with an insurance claim. We walked homeowners through the entire process and met with the adjuster to go over the damage. We were able to get them fully claimed out and insurance company paid for a tear-off roof replacement and gutter replacement. Homeowners did not have to pay for anything out of pocket! We are certified Owens Corning installers and GAF certified installers. We removed and replaced all of the pipe flanges, ridge vent, ridge cap, step-flashing, and reinforced all counter-flashing. We installed ice shield self-adhesive membrane in all of the valleys and 15# felt as shingle underlayment. We blew out all of the gutters, ridding of debris and replaced a gutter on the right side of home. The color was not right when we received the new guttering so we re-ordered the correct color. If something ends up not being perfect we will carry the cost to make it right. We completed the roof in 2 business days and guttering in 1 business day. We cleaned up and ran magnetic rollers around property to ensure all nails were picked up. We are very picky about our clean up and do not want anyone to get a flat tire or step on a nail! We placed a 15-Year Workmanship Warranty, No-Leak Policy on all roof work completed and filled out the Owens Corning Lifetime Shingle Warranty and gave to homeowners. For the fence, we worked with homeowner who already had design completed. We ordered all materials and scheduled for fence work to begin. We installed a 6 foot Cedar Privacy Fence, 232 linear feet total. All privacy slats were cedar and all structural posts were pressure treated. The posts were spaced every 8ft. All posts were 4x4's and were set in concrete. We built (2) custom gates in locations specified by homeowner. We installed strong hinge and latch systems on the gates. Homeowner had originally called us to come out and give her an estimate on restoring her deck. It was not originally installed correctly and now, even though customer had maintained it very well, there were boards popping up and was unsafe. Curtis came up with a design and a plan and explained to her that if we just restored the deck that it would not have the results that she would want. Therefore that is why we were advising her to replace it. We moved all items and patio furniture off of the deck. We were able to keep the main structure, some of the band boards and floor joists and a few posts. We added more posts due to length of handrail system. Also some of the original posts had not even been installed in concrete. We removed all except for what we were able to use and what was structurally sound. The deck dimensions were 20x10. We used all premium pressure treated wood. It is the best quality of wood on the market. It has less knots and has more chemicals pumped into the wood for longevity. We used pneumatic nailers to install all wood and used hot-dipped ring shank galvanized nails. We guarantee our nails will never back out or leave rust stains/puddles. That is part of our 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. We used 2x12's for perimeter band boards and 5 1/4 decking slats for flooring. We installed an all new handrail system and added concrete to posts as needed, 3-4ft down in ground and 1ft below frost line. We built a new staircase. We sanded entire deck, removing all factory markings and leaving a smooth beautiful finish. We installed all new lattice around the perimeter. We cleaned up and hauled off all debris. This job was completed in 2 business days. We recommend staining or sealing your new wood deck 4-8 months after installment. The wood needs this time to weather but if you wait over a year, the wood will turn grey and loose its beautiful tone. It will also start to break down after 3 years or so. To protect your investment the deck must be sealed or stained. We use a great product that has not failed us and all of our decks still look great 8 years after. Maintenance on wood decks is a necessity but if you do the minor repairs, pressure wash it, every 3-5 years and apply new sealant every 5-7 years, your deck will look great for many many years. Homeowners had called us out to give them an estimate on their back deck being replaced. It had not been flashed properly and was causing issues with wood rot. After discussing their needs and wants to the vision of the new deck we came up with a design of a covered porch addition. The owners approved of the design and price and a contract was drawn up and signed. Several large storms came through during the building process so we inspected the roof on the main house and found significant wind and hail damage. We walked the owners through the insurance claim process. We were there as our client's advocate when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof damage. We were able to get the roof completely replaced by the insurance company. We waived the owner's deductible so no money came out of their pocket. The total cost of the roof replacement tear-off was $10,719.80. We removed all existing shingles and felt. We replaced all rotted or damaged decking needed with 15/32nd chip board. We disposed of all debris into a 15-yard dumpster which was removed upon completion. We installed 15# felt throughout. We installed ice-shield membrane in all valleys and problematic areas. We replaced all pipe flanges and vents with new. We sealed all pipes and counter-flashing properly. We step-flashed properly all walls. We installed new ridge vent where needed. We installed a GAF Lifetime Warrantied HD Charcoal Architectural shingle throughout. We upgraded the owners to an architectural shingle at no additional cost. For the Rear Porch Addition we built a new deck that was approx. 20ft x 12ft with an offset of 8ft x 8ft landing on the outside corner with a set of steps 4ft in width with a handrail system going around perimeter of landing and steps and connected to all structural posts. The (3) structural posts were 6x6's and all handrail systems were formed out of 4x4 posts. We corrected all flashing that was done improperly during original installment. All wood work was done with Premium Pressure Treated Wood. We hand-sanded all wood work completed. We vaulted the ceiling and added a ceiling fan and (2) eave lights. We installed a white soffit ceiling and wrapped all main posts and decorative beams with PVC material for a beautiful finish. We placed a 10-Year Workmanship Warranty on all wood work, metal work, trim work, and gutter work. We placed a 15-Year Workmanship Warranty No Leak Policy on all roof work completed.
