moisture barrier

Mar 2015

we went in and sealed the crawlspace with a moisture \ vapor barrier we checked for mold luckily there was not to much i just had to spay a few joist with a mold killer and wipe everything clean. i then turned on my air cleaner for a day. we seamed around the pipes with a special tape. we cleaned everything and now it looks like a new home protected from moisture and vapor from the earth. if this was an older home we would of had a lot more mold to deal with and that brings up the cost. i try to keep it as cost effective as i can.

basement insulation

Feb 2015

we insulated the basement by first filling in all the cracks. then we hung 2 inch thick Insulation, 4ft by 8 ft Polyisocyanurate board. over the block wall since this was a interiour job on a newer house. now we are ready to frame out and build the room but that is the next job. we came out good 600 for labor and 300 for material it took 2 days and with all out construction and painting jobs there was a 5 year labor free guarantee. but this installation job will last for years to come and it passed inspection.
