This is a reply to Bloomfield’s response on my review. The first thing that you do is to shame and blame the customer? It really shows what kind of company you are and the values that you represent. First of all, we spoke clearly about who we were. Why would we bother with posing as former owners of a home which we bought to just to get a complimentary maintenance? You are blaming Dan’s incompetence and failure to check for proper customer identification on us? When we spoke to Diane on your team for a follow up call, she followed those procedures and we had a great conversation with her. Furthermore, we called you because of what the previous home owners wrote to us. They clearly truly believed that the warranty was transferable and they were supposed to be getting a complimentary maintenance. They were a nice couple who reminded us to call you for the promised maintenance. How else would we have known? It seems like you promised them something and failed to honor your promises. Sounds exactly like mis-selling to get the deal done. In summary, your un-necessary defense of Dan’s poor customer service (when Diane did an amazing job) and your mis-selling tactics are the reasons we even bother to leave this review. We did not want to see others getting into the same predicament as we did. Beware and stay away from Bloomfield Cooling!

These guys deserve a mention for being untrustworthy. They installed a brand new system in the property less than a year ago with the previous owner. When we bought the house, the previous owners specifically said to ask these guys to come out to balance the equipment because it was under warranty. We phoned them and they said they would come out (and all we had to pay for was the filters). We said fine. The day of service, NO ONE SHOWED UP! The sales rep, Dan, was extremely rude and accused us of pretending to be the previous owner. 1. We did not do that. We merely called and provided the address. Dan did not check and verify who he was talking to. 2. He claimed he couldn’t reach us to confirm the appointment because he called the previous owners who said they didn’t have our number. In fact the office had call records because a lady Diane resolved the issue. 3. Later in the day, Dan called and was extremely rude and kept insisting because we are not who we said we were, as such we now had to pay for the rebalancing of the equipment. Ok so here’s it. If we originally had to pay for it, why was an appointment scheduled and why was advise provided that we only have to pay for the filters (that we have no problems with). Isn’t the warranty tagged to the equipment? Not who owns it? Why did it make a difference? Lastly, my advise to Bloomfield’s Dan - be nice. Learn from Diane. A little more customer service goes a long way. We were prepared to go with you guys regardless whether it was free or not, until you made that phone call that was an extreme turn off.
