MEDICAL EXCHANGE

I have been calling my doctors office and leaving a message. No one has returned my call. I called the main office number again, and instead was sent to the medical exhange. I explained I simply wanted to leave a message with the office and no one would answer the office phone. The medical exchange operator's response was "not our problem" and hung up on me while I was in the middle of a sentence. I called back and was told that my only option was to physically go the the doctor's office if I was having any problems. I asked, "well, what IF I was having an emgency? Could you put me through to anyone?" The operator said "no, and we have recorded your caller ID number. If you call us back, we will refuse to answer."
