If I could give this buisness a -5 stars I would. I blindly hired Mr.Eric Comstock to do a few minor fixes. My first impression of him was not a good one, I immediately felt that something was off about him. It was almost as if he was a bit out of it and spastic. I regretted my decision in hiring him immediately.He also was not alone he had what he had with him a blond female with. Beat-up face. She was definitely on some sort of substance. The poor dear was half dressed and short ctop top and ay to tight cut off shorts with no shoes.. i myself felt it was a bit to cold out for that type of dress . He yelled at her to go back to the truck. He started working on a leak in on my guest bathroom and I had to grab a prescription from the pharmacy before closing. I couldn't not pick it up. So I went against my gut feeling and left but before I let Mr. Comstock know i'd be back within a half hour. The whole time I was away from my home I felt uneasy and worried to death. I didn't know why but something felt off. After a very long 45 minutes i returned to my home and everything seemed normal . I walked back to check progress and found Eric Comstock smoking what I believe to be crystal methamphetamine. He was smoking it out of a glass pipe with a ball at one end. I had seen it on intervention. I was shocked and told him how unprofessional he was. He started cursing at me "fat bi%$&" mind your own buisness . I just wanted him out immediately so I handed him a check for the badly half done job he had started . He stormed out of my home breaking an antique lamp I had inherited from my grandmother. I thought about contacting the police and instead I canceled the check. He didn't fix the leak after all and several things were missing from my home. I believe he had his partner girlfriend, the beat-up blond steal from me as he worked or pretended to work.. After all she had a black eye and busted lip. I would assume he abuses her and has her do his dirty work. I have since contacted the better buisness bureau california. I highly recommend that you DO NOT HIRE COMSTOCK PLUMBING. Update: I have come to find out that many bu have had this issue and hone owners. He also reportedly struck one woman when she caught him stealing from her. He's being sued.
